International Version vs UAE Version: What's the Difference?

When you shop for appliances in the UAE, you'll often see the words "international version". Many customers ask us what this means. Here is a simple explanation.
What is an international version?
An international version is a genuine, brand-new product that was released for another market – for example Hong Kong, the UK or Europe – and then imported to the UAE. It is not a copy and not a refurbished unit.
What's different?
1. The plug
This is the main difference you'll notice. UK and Hong Kong versions usually have a UK-style 3-pin plug, which fits UAE sockets directly. European versions have a 2-pin plug, which works with a standard plug adapter. Each product page on our site shows the exact version and plug type.
2. Voltage
The UAE uses 220–240V. Products made for the UK, Europe and Hong Kong are designed for the same range.
3. Warranty
The official manufacturer warranty in the UAE usually covers only units sold through the brand's local channels. International versions are generally not covered by that local warranty, so it matters who you buy from. At Jayden, every product comes with our own 1-Year Jayden Warranty.
4. Price
International versions are often more competitively priced than local stock, which is why many people choose them.
